Welcome to Crusty Crab, a comfortable and well-equipped retreat located just two miles before the Grand Isle bridge, overlooking the bay and directly across from Elmer’s Island. With plenty of parking, outdoor space, and a convenient dock, this camp is ideal for fishing trips, family gatherings, or a peaceful weekend on the water.

- 24’ bulkhead dock (no pier)
- Depth varies with tide/wind (approx. 2’ at high tide, 1’ at low tide)

- The dock accommodates up to 21’ boats
- Single-axle 19’ boats can launch on-site

This place is perfect for fishing, especially kayak fishing. You can watch where you're parked under the house clean fish under the house. AC is cold as ice. Great location good times.

Perfect camp for Labor Day Weekend with our family! Lots of room and beautiful views! We loved the water access and ease of launching our boat at the camp. Great fishing and lots to do in the area! Will definitely be back!

We had a great stay! Our 9 year old grandson made his first solo flight to Louisiana to go fishing with his Paw Paw G. The Crusty Crab was the perfect place to spend the weekend! We enjoyed the camp side dock, and the place was clean with everything easy to locate. Were definitely going to stay there again.

This place is perfect for kayak fishing. The parking area is well lighted, hose bibs everywhere. The fish cleaning area is awesome. Beds are super comfortable and AC is super cold. House was very clean and host was highly responsive. Highly recommend.

I was able to speak directly to a member of the Island Realty team every time I had a question. A member contacted me on the day of our arrival to let me know that the water was high on Rush Rd. due to the storm in the gulf, so I could make parking arrangements if necessary. I received multiple e-mails and text messages to remind me about check in and check out procedures. I can't say enough good things about Island Realty.

We loved our stay at the Crusty Crab. The house was the perfect size for the six of us and our dogs. My husband enjoyed being able to launch from the camp and fish as often as he would like. My mother-in-law raved about the washing machine. She liked the size. My father-in-law thought the a/c was cold and the bed was comfortable. My girls enjoyed crabbing from the dock and swinging underneath the camp. The dogs were happy to be included in our family vacation.
