Description
Out with the old and in with the new as of November 14, 2022! Skip-A-Beat was given a face lift and it is adorable. Come relax on our front porch and watch the sunrise over the gulf waters. Open floor plan with spacious living/dining/kitchen area that will accommodate the entire family. It is located directly on Hwy 1 across from the beach. Beach access #6 right across the street and plenty room for boat parking. Downstairs area has a locked storage for tenant use along with a half bath and two picnic tables. We welcome pets to our camp, just be sure to make your pet fee payment arrangements with management for your pet when booking. Cable T.V. in Living Room and Wifi included at location. Nearest golf cart crossover path is #4.8 Blackberry Lane.

My family spent a week at Skip-A-Beat and had a wonderful time. The house is clean and comfortable and looks like it had been recently revamped with modern appliances and amenities. The area was walkable and the beach access is right across the street within walking distance. The island is small and has little in the way of shopping or souvenirs and the whole area is still recovering from the hurricane so make sure to bring with you most of what you will want. The area was very peaceful and my sons were able to catch several huge redfish right off the beach and jetty. I would definitely visit again.

Skip-a-Beat was absolutely amazing. My daughter and I brought my mom (who is fighting cancer and dementia) along with her 4 other siblings for a short get-a-way and we all throughly enjoyed it. House was exactly what we wanted. Super close beach access as well as conveniently located to the grocery stores. We will be back!!!
