Departure Checklist
CHECK OUT time is strictly at 11:00 am. NO EXCEPTIONS, we need to get the property ready for the next guest.
UPSTAIRS
- Check bedrooms for fan and tv remote
- Check bunk room for game controllers
- Check living room for tv remote
- Cover deck furniture
- Leave used towels on floor in bathroom. Do not leave wet towels on carpets.
- Starting a load of laundry would be appreciated, but not required
- Wash Dishes/Turn Dishwasher on
- Remove all food from the refrigerator, freezer and cabinets
- Lock door to lift (if lift used)
- Set both units to 74° upon departure
- Turn off all lights
- Lock main door
DOWNSTAIRS
- Check for AC, fan and both TV remotes
- Clean grill (discard grill and bucket liners if needed)
- Return grill and mat to storage
- Clean boiling equipment if used
- Clean fish cleaning station if used
- Return tables, chairs, and boil pots found on arrival to correct location
- Store outdoor downstairs cushions inside downstairs area
- Turn off all lights
- Set unit to 74° upon departure
- Padlock roll up garage door
- Lock main door
Bag and remove all garbage to outside bins, BRING GARBAGE CANS TO HIGHWAY

TRASH - Put out on MONDAY and THURSDAY NIGHTs. Must be brought to the highway
OTHER REMINDERS
- AC – Cool air escapes fast, keep entry doors closed at all times
- AC - Do not set below the normal range, it may freeze
- TOWELS – There should be at least one per person ON ARRIVAL text 985-246-8248 if you are missing towels
- BBQ Pits – Maintained by guest and may need to be cleaned before use
- PROPANE Tanks – Filled by guest and can be filled at grocery stores and marinas
- KITCHEN SUPPLIES If you move them between levels, return to the correct level
- NO SMOKING
- NO PETS Failure to follow may lead to immediate eviction, all fees withheld and fine to cover cleaning or damages
- GAMES Pick up during bad or extremely windy weather
- CUSHIONS Pick up during bad or extremely windy weather.
- SEAFOOD Dispose of seafood in bags
Pool Rules
- USE POOL AT OWN RISK Management will not be responsible for any accidents, regardless of fault.
- RINSE before entering the pool. All oils and sunscreens must be washed off as they will harm the equipment. No urinating in the pool.
- NO RUNNING on deck
- NO DIVING or JUMPING off the pool deck into the pool.
- NO LIFEGUARD Guests are responsible for the safety devices of children and must be supervised by an adult at all times. If a child is unsupervised, they will be asked to leave. 69 % of drownings occur in less than 3 feet, and drowning is the 3rd leading cause of unintentional injury death worldwide.
- TODDLERS must wear swim diapers.
- NO GLASS CONTAINERS are allowed in the pool area. Drink Responsibly. Drinking increases the risk of drowning and awareness. Anyone visibly under the influence will be asked to leave.
- NO BALLOONS in the pool
- ONE STRIKE POLICY: Due to the extremely high cost/ liability of having a pool, Management reserves the right to revoke pool access at any time, which will include property eviction.
